Can I use a canvas size other than 60 × 40 cm?
Yes. The preset is a starting point. Turn on real-size mode and enter your canvas width and height in centimeters, inches, meters, or feet.
Will the reference image be stretched to fit the canvas?
No. Grid Maker scales the full image proportionally inside the target frame. If the ratios differ, the remaining bands stay visible so you can decide how to handle them.
How do I choose the number of canvas grid squares?
Use fewer, larger squares for a quick block-in and more squares for detailed placement. The cell dimensions update as you change the row and column counts.
Can I print or download the canvas plan?
Yes. Download the current grid as a PNG or print the project sheet after setting the physical target dimensions.
